International A-Level Exam Entry

Availability to be confirmed: entering candidates for International A-Level requires accreditation beyond our current AQA, Edexcel & OCR domestic approval. What Is the International A-Level?

The International A-Level is a two-year, subject-based qualification built for study outside the standard English school system, while still being pitched at the same academic level as a domestic A-Level.

Same Standard, Different Delivery

International A-Levels sit alongside the domestic A-Level in academic demand and grading, but are often built with linear, end-of-course assessment and without coursework in many subjects.

Recognised for University Entry

Widely used as an entry route into UK and international universities, generally treated as directly comparable to the domestic A-Level, though individual course requirements can vary.

Students Overseas

Learners based outside the UK wanting strong international recognition.

Home-Educated Students

Families needing a linear, exam-based specification without ongoing school enrolment.

How Does It Differ From the Domestic A-Level?
